Flux Phenomena
These works show mirror images of figures bowing in the a kind of universal way - they are naked - before clothes as if they are just born. Bowing in celebration of all things - in the past and the future - to the essence of the presentment and the connectedness of everything - as in a reflection. The branches and stones in the prints exist before us and also in the thoughts of people bowing, I use the contrast of digital print for the figures and lithography for the stone and branches to suggest different kinds of time - where some things endure - last, like a stone mountain and other things like people - live only a short time.
